IOC and Olympic Peptide Regulations
International Olympic Committee rules on peptide use for Olympic athletes.
Introduction
The IOC adopts the World Anti-Doping Code, so Olympic athletes are tested against WADA's Prohibited List. As of October 2026, the 2026 List is in force; the 2027 List takes effect on January 1, 2027. The International Testing Agency (ITA) runs Games testing for the IOC.

All are banned in and out of competition. Semaglutide and tirzepatide are monitored, not prohibited.
Testing Sophistication

Consequences
Sanction Framework
Under the 2021 Code, in force through 2026:

| Trafficking or administration | 4 years to life |
Repeat violations bring longer bans. A third usually means life. At the Games, a CAS panel can also strip Games results and medals.
